Louis + ReBecca

On an unusually hot but beautifully sunny day in May I drove to the quaint little town of New Harmony, Indiana. The town was originally built as a commune but has since been converted into an entire wedding community. It’s so small that most people drive golf carts to get around, but the charm is everywhere. Full of gorgeous old houses, sweeping gardens and unique sculptures, the places to shoot are endless. Rebecca and Louis chose this location because of it’s elegance but also because it was central to both of their Indiana home towns.

I first met Becca in Ireland in 2011 where she was studying on Irish National Stud.  When we both returned to Kentucky she met Louis and everyone knew immediately they were it for each other. They had a daughter together, Grace, who was their adorable flower girl and then got engaged. (And you have to check out their epic engagement we shot here.) Shooting their wedding was special to me and I’m so happy to watch their family grow. You can see the love they share in every photo and the happiness they bring to all of us and each other is as cherishable as any of the photos.
